Waterside Lion Dance led by Si Fu Ricky Tang established this group in 2001. With a passion for Chinese Kung Fu and Lion Dance, Waterside is now recognised as the south's leading lion dance group.

Waterside lion dance has performed all over the South Coast including Southampton, Portsmouth, Brighton, Exeter, Devon as well as London China Town, Isle of Wight, Wales and many more.

Waterside Lion Dance also qualified to represent England in the World Lion Dance Championship 2009 in Guangzhou, China. However, due to the competition date being set on the busy Christmas period. Waterside were unable to participate in this competition.
